Today, we got to draw from a photo that Kathie George had taken. I loved drawing this, and find it so much easier to draw from a photo than from real life. Guess I've just got to get better at putting an imaginary box around whatever I'm drawing outdoors. I started a new challenge for myself today. I'm going to eat only healthy foods (No processed foods) for the next 30 days and will log onto MyFitnessPal app every day for the next 30 days too. If I go by this, I should lose 1.5 pounds per week, which will be great! This will be a test to see who actually READS my blogs. Anyone who joins me must blog below, and will get a free art lesson, sent to their email, so it's important that you send me that email address too. I'm not going to post this on Facebook, only here on my blog. How many of you want to join me?
and there you have it--great idea. I am eating very healthy foods, right now. I cannot help but think of the post that says--I have committed to losing 10 pounds--only have 13 to go... I cannot weigh myself, but I know I have lost pounds that needed to go... I am trying to keep in mind that my huge weight will be a detriment to a knee replacement. So--I am on! Just can't tell how much I am losing, I do know were I was before the friggin' disaster, so some day, when I can balance on a scale (without my husband looking on), I will know. By the way--beds in hospitals that automatically weigh you should be illegal.

DeleteKaren, this is just what I need! I think of this every single day and think "I'll start tomorrow". I'm hoping this will be the catalyst that will get me going! It's been a looooong winter and I'm afraid of what I'll look like when I remove some of this clothing. Ewwww....don't think it will be pretty.
